About the Artwork

Sledding in Central Park was inspired by the January 25, 2026 snowstorm in New York, when hundreds of people made their way to Central Park to sled.

What begins as a quiet winter scene becomes a celebration of spontaneity, play, and the unexpected moments that interrupt everyday life.
